What is Bournemouth 2600?Β Β
π It is a group of friendly and like-minded people to talk about all things technology and cybersecurity with.Β
π Bournemouth 2600 Officially restarted on 2nd September 2022
π We always meet every month at the same location.Β
π» We hope to put on activities such as giving talks, technical workshops, panels, creating tutorials, as well as informal activities such as watching movies (usually something to do with hackers), grabbing a bite to eat and something to drink.Β
π© Our activities can even include training or partaking in Capture The Flag (CTF) events, such as TraceLabs, TryHackMe, VulnHub, or HackTheBox
π Some of our favourite topics are, but not limited to, open source intelligence (OSINT), cyber threat intelligence (CTI), malware analysis, digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), threat hunting, hardware hacking (e.g. Raspberry Pi and Arduino), and social engineering
π€ Bournemouth 2600 members also attend several UK Infosec conferences throughout the year, e.g. HOPE, EMF Camp, various BSides, CyberThreat, Infosec Europe, and SteelCon, among others.

π The venue also has a function room upstairs that we can use to give things like talks and workshops, as well as playing games or watching movies.
